FACEBOOK AND TWITTER EXPLAINED

Word of mouth is one of the most valuable forms of advertising in history.  Why?  Because we trust our friends’ opinions more than ads that we know have been constructed solely to get us to buy a certain product or try a certain bar or restaurant. Social Networks like Twitter and Facebook are the new word of mouth  which means your business needs to take note.

It used to take hours, a day or even a few days before a customer’s experience was shared with his/her friends and family. A bad meal or a great experience might have been discussed that evening or at work the next day. That was before the mobile phone which meant that customers could text their experience to one or two friends. Maybe even take a picture of a great dish with their camera phone.

Bars and Restaurants can now build a community of like minded fans who rave about their businesses using free tools like Facebook and Twitter where the only investment needed is time and a little thought.

But Twitter and Facebook can still be a scary place for many businesses. Is it right for your business? Will you know how to use it? Will anyone care? All valid questions that we answer in this exclusive 35 Page Booklet we have created.
